The popular content creator IShowSpeed has been challenged to a race by an Olympic track star, and has officially accepted the challenge.
IShowSpeed is well-known for his unique and occasionally unexpected performances on the internet. His recent participation in the 2024 Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling competition, where he placed fourth, and his victory over the fastest Norwegian national football player in a race are just two noteworthy instances.
Speed is accustomed to testing his skills on the field and, as evidenced by his recent challenge, on a track course as well.
Ewa Swoboda, the track and field sprinter who will be competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics, has recently challenged Speed’s claim of never losing a race.
Upon hearing of Speed’s remarks, the Olympian wasted no time in issuing a challenge to the YouTuber. She offered to “possibly…run with him”on the condition that he visit Poland and participate in the RMF FM radio competition.
The Olympian also mentioned, “A race will take place at the Silesian Stadium where I will run 100 meters with the winners of the competition. Perhaps he still has the opportunity to register.”

Following their initial exchange, Speed has now taken action and shared a screenshot from X of him sending a direct message to Swobada with a straightforward challenge, “Do you want to race against me?”
Currently, IShowSpeed has not disclosed if he has received a response from the Olympic athlete or officially confirmed if the race will take place.
The RFM FM radio contest is scheduled to occur on August 24, 2024, meaning the competition between IShowSpeed and Swoboda may soon be realized. However, there are still many factors that must be considered before this date.
