IShowSpeed Announces Date for $25k Race Against Jake Paul

Streaming sensation IShowSpeed has announced the date for his highly anticipated $25,000 race against Jake Paul, and it’s just around the corner.

In the past year, as IShowSpeed has explored more IRL content, the young YouTube streamer has achieved significant milestones. He attended the Ballon d’Or ceremony, met his idol Cristiano Ronaldo, had a chance encounter with Kim Kardashian, and is currently on an extensive tour across Asia.

A highlight of his IRL streams has been showcasing his incredible speed and agility. True to his name, Speed has excelled in foot races and even jumped over moving cars, although some creators remain skeptical about his jumping abilities.

Jake Paul appears to be on Speed’s side regarding his athleticism but confidently asserts that he can outpace the streamer—something that’s rarely achieved thus far.

Jake has put up a $25,000 prize for the race and even offered to fly Speed to Puerto Rico to make it happen.

The YouTube star recently disclosed the race’s schedule, saying, “I’m racing Jake Paul after this tour. I’m flying to Puerto Rico and making easy bread off Jake Paul. How much did he offer? 25k? 50k? I forgot. Oh, 25k.”

This won’t be Speed’s first race against fellow creators; he previously outran Jake Paul’s long-time rival KSI in a foot race before the 2023 Sidemen Charity Match, maintaining a solid track record.

He has also collaborated with Kai Cenat on various projects, including intense Minecraft sessions. However, they have yet to race despite having talked about it.

Jake is training for his upcoming boxing match against Mike Tyson in Puerto Rico this November, which may make him quite speedy. Whether he can outrun Speed, however, remains to be seen.
