Football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo is causing a buzz with the launch of his YouTube channel, and IShowSpeed is eagerly hoping for a collaboration opportunity with their sporting idol.
One thing to remember about IShowSpeed, the popular streamer, is his love for Cristiano Ronaldo. He has even gone to the extent of decorating his supercar with a decal of the footballer on the hood, as well as owning a $120K watch that is inspired by the renowned athlete.
Speed has never hidden his admiration for Ronaldo, so when the iconic player launched his own YouTube channel on August 21, Speed was ecstatic.

Speed was undoubtedly thrilled about Ronaldo’s new YouTube endeavor, which has already been a tremendous success for the soccer player. Just hours after creating his account, his channel has already gained over 5 million subscribers at the time of writing, with more continuing to join by the second.
Despite being a new channel, he has already amassed several uploads, each of which has received hundreds of thousands of views. His most popular video has reached over one million views, showcasing a ‘Mr. & Mrs.’ game between him and his wife.
It remains unknown how much time Ronaldo will need to surpass IShowSpeed, who currently has an impressive 28 million subscribers on his primary channel. However, considering the rapid growth of Ronaldo’s channel within a few hours of its launch, it is plausible that Speed’s role model may soon outpace him on his own platform.
Ronaldo is currently the second most-followed account on Instagram, with an impressive 636 million followers. The only account that surpasses him is Instagram’s official account, which has a lead of 40 million followers.
Despite this, Ronaldo faces a much larger challenge on YouTube. Currently, MrBeast holds the title of the platform’s most subscribed creator with a staggering 300 million subscribers, a milestone that no other user has achieved in the history of the website.
At the moment, it appears that Speed’s main focus is on working together with his idol for a possible video… however, fans will have to be patient to find out if Ronaldo will respond to the invitation.
