iShowSpeed criticizes fans for sharing his mother’s wedding photos

Streaming sensation IShowSpeed has expressed frustration with fans who invade his personal life. In a passionate post on Twitter/X, he lashed out at viewers for sharing his mother’s wedding photos without his consent.

IShowSpeed is a highly acclaimed streamer on the internet, with a massive fan following of more than 27 million subscribers on YouTube. However, at the time of writing, he is serving a temporary ban.

During the pause in activity, Speed has been using his secondary Twitter account to provide updates to fans. He recently posted a strong statement directed at a small group of online users who leaked sensitive information about him and his family.

On August 11, 2024, Speed publicly criticized certain viewers for sharing his mother’s wedding photos on the internet in a post.

“I will not allow you to leak my mother’s wedding, no matter what. I am leaving, there is no privacy left.”

The pictures of Speed, along with his parents, siblings, and other relatives, attending an outdoor wedding ceremony, started spreading on various social media platforms during the weekend.

Overall, opinions from fans have been varied. Some are advising Speed to be cautious about the people he associates with, as they may unintentionally reveal sensitive information, while others are criticizing the individuals responsible for sharing the private moment online.

Despite this, some are criticizing Speed for anticipating privacy despite being one of the most well-known entertainers on the internet.

“Rest assured, we have been taking action to hide any posts and remove any individuals who share it on the community,”reassured a viewer.

“Another person responded, “It’s not a big deal, dude.”

“This is the result of being an influencer,”another person wrote.

“Why not avoid being famous then?”another person asked, using the acronym “TF?”

Speed has had to manage his fans on multiple occasions. In July, when his trip across Europe went viral, he pleaded with his viewers to refrain from damaging cars during their IRL meetups. He shared that he had to cover a hefty cost of $50,000 to repair vehicles following the chaotic gatherings.

Currently, Speed is getting ready for his upcoming tour in Southeast Asia while he serves out his YouTube ban.
