The future of a rematch remains uncertain. However, this incident highlights a growing trend of influencers stepping into the athletic arena. YouTube star Jake Paul, for instance, has gained notoriety for competing against seasoned fighters, most notably facing off against heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson during Netflix’s first-ever live combat sports broadcast.
IShowSpeed has demonstrated his athletic capabilities as well. His recent grappling match against fellow streamer Adin Ross, overseen by UFC president Dana White, ended in a submission victory for Speed, further showcasing his competitive edge. He has also secured a victory in a footrace against an Australian football player for a cash prize of $10K.
Although Speed has faced losses, including bouts against icons like Manny Pacquiao and Dan Hooker, his determination to prove his athletic prowess remains unwavering.
