IShowSpeed Responds to Dream’s “Chill” Advice on YouTube Subscriber Milestones

IShowSpeed’s rapid ascent as one of YouTube’s leading stars has captured the attention of another major creator on the platform: Dream.

The YouTube sensation, IShowSpeed, has been exploring Southeast Asia while conducting exciting IRL streams, featuring events such as sparring with Manny Pacquiao, riding an elephant, and even teasing tigers.

During his adventures, Speed nearly injured himself while performing a backflip in Cambodia as a celebration for reaching 30 million subscribers on YouTube.

This significant milestone did not go unnoticed by Minecraft YouTuber Dream, who reached out after observing that his own subscriber count was at risk of being overtaken.

While riding in the back of a car, Dream made a $100 donation to IShowSpeed and congratulated him on his impressive YouTube growth.

Upon receiving the donation, Speed promptly checked Dream’s YouTube channel and saw that he was just two million subscribers away from surpassing him.

“Not yet,” Speed responded. “Not yet, not yet, not yet! I need two million, chat. I need two million.”

Furthermore, Speed has made predictions about his future growth, expressing that he anticipates reaching 32 million subscribers within the next two to three months.

Dream has remained a dominant figure among Minecraft YouTubers for several years, although his video uploads have decreased, leading to a stagnation in his subscriber count for over a year.

IShowSpeed reached 30 million subscribers during his Asia adventure.

In the meantime, IShowSpeed’s viral streams and clips are significantly boosting his channel’s growth.

According to the data-tracking website SocialBlade, Speed saw an incredible gain of 2.1 million subscribers over the last 30 days, largely due to his travels in Asia.

Considering Speed’s predictions, it appears he might take a break once his journey concludes, but he remains optimistic about outpacing Dream by the end of the year, hinting that he has exciting YouTube content planned ahead.
