IShowSpeed’s Success: European Stream Tour Draws over 2.5 Billion Views

Darren Jason Watkins Jr., also known as IShowSpeed on the internet, has successfully completed his European streaming tour. Throughout his stay in Europe, he has garnered a staggering 2.5 billion views on various social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

The content creator has achieved great success during his tour, traveling to different countries and stadiums to watch UEFA Euro matches in 2024.

Throughout his football-themed journey, Speed experienced a wide range of emotions, from meeting Albania’s Prime Minister to being surrounded by a throng of Norwegian spectators and declaring that he would never come back.

Now that he has returned home, the impressive statistics from Speed’s tour have been revealed, showing an incredible total of over 2.5 billion views on multiple platforms.

Dedicated to keeping followers informed, the YouTuber X’s (formerly known as Twitter) account, “SpeedUpdates1,”shared that the “legendary”tour’s overall views were tallied from a combination of TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

Upon arriving in Europe on June 16th in Germany, Speed continued to create some of his most popular content of the year. According to Streams Charts, he accumulated a total of 664,500 hours watched on YouTube during this time.

During the tour, the group visited a total of eighteen countries including Germany, Albania, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Denmark, and Ireland.

During his time in Europe, Speed consistently had an average viewership of 50,000 to 80,000 people, with occasional peaks reaching over a million viewers. He also disclosed that he had incurred a significant amount of expenses due to damages caused by fans jumping on vehicles that he had rented while being surrounded by his audience.

During the tour, Speed also took on the viral green wizard ‘Crawley’ in a wrestling match, participated in a street fight with a fan in Greece, received a kiss on the lips from a Bulgarian fan, and even raced against Norway’s fastest footballer.

Ever since coming back to the US, Speed has been consistently producing fresh content and working hard to deliver entertaining streams for his followers. On July 21, he collaborated with Twitch’s top streamer Kai Cenat, and together they physically linked themselves to take on the challenging platformer game Chained Together.

The pair streamed their attempt to conquer the game and were ultimately successful in doing so in less than 12 hours.
