Welcome to Derry cast: Who’s in it?

It has been confirmed that Bill Skarsgård will be returning to portray his iconic character, Pennywise the Clown, in Welcome to Derry. However, the participation of other actors from the original cast has not yet been confirmed.

According to Variety, the cast of the upcoming HBO Max prequel series for “It”now includes Zola star Taylour Paige, Watchmen’s Jovan Adepo, Perry Mason actor Chris Chalk, and James Remar of Dexter fame.

Despite the lack of character specifics at the moment, it is improbable that any of the original members of the Losers Club will be making an appearance in the upcoming prequel to the first It movie. The actor portraying the menacing antagonist Pennywise has yet to be confirmed, but speculations suggest that Bill Skarsgård may reprise his role.

The show, which started production in March 2022, will have Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs as executive producers. Andy Muschietti, who has directed the 2017 and 2019 films IT: Chapter 1 and IT: Chapter 2, brings a wealth of experience with the franchise.

Additionally, it was announced that Jason Fuchs will be joining Brad Caleb Kane as a co-showrunner for the project.
