Quickly answering, she responded:

“KIOL (KISS OF LIFE).”

Upon seeing this, fans quickly grasped the reason behind her recent spontaneous cover of KISS OF LIFE’s comeback track, “Midas Touch,”posted on TikTok.

At the time of writing, the video on TikTok had accumulated approximately 3 million views and was close to reaching 1 million hearts.

K-pop fans were ecstatic about these “crumbs,”as seen in the comments:

  • “KISS OF LIFE AND ITZY? SINCE WHEN?”
  • “Chaeryeong stans are we okay?”

  • “Natty and Chaeryeong interaction is needed again.”
  • “Chaeryeong slayed this concept.”
  • “Kissy and Midzy, how are we doing?”
  • “OMG, the dance we thought Chaeryeong would never do “

The captivating and sensual music of KIOF has led many to believe that Chaeryeong’s fondness for the group stems from their concept, which perfectly aligns with her own musical and choreography preferences.

Despite this, fans speculate that Chaeryeong is also expressing her affection towards her fellow members, particularly Natty, with whom she trained for a considerable amount of time under JYP Entertainment.

Apart from their joint appearance on “Sixteen,”a survival show produced by TWICE, they were also trainees with the potential to debut together as members of ITZY. However, only Chaeryeong successfully made it to the final lineup.

Natty, who had previously been a trainee at JYP, later appeared on Pledis’s survival show, “Idol School,”which ultimately formed the group fromis_9. However, Natty was eliminated from the show and instead chose to debut as a solo artist under Swing Entertainment. In 2020, she signed with S2 Entertainment and released her debut single, KISS OF LIFE.

Despite being promoted under different labels, Chaeryeong consistently showed her strong bond with Natty by supporting her in the group KISS OF LIFE.
