ITZY Demonstrates Heartwarming Acts of Filial Piety Following Financial Settlements

During the October 24 episode of KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show,” the popular girl group ITZY made an appearance as special guests.

The show’s host, Park Myung-soo, acknowledged their impressive journey over six years since their debut, stating, “Your parents must be incredibly proud of your achievements,” and inquired about how each member has expressed filial respect towards their families.

In response, Chaeryeong shared, “I make it a point to frequently call and text my family. I sent my mom and sister on a trip to Europe before, and I’m planning to treat them to another one,” while Ryujin added, “I gifted my mom a watch using my bonus,” and Yuna noted, “I took my parents on a European vacation where we enjoyed a concert together, and my mom got emotional during it.”

Park Myung-soo then humorously mentioned, “Daughters sometimes appear to have a little distance with their fathers,” leading the members to ask, “Is your relationship with your daughter like that?”

He responded, “My daughter is in high school, which is a challenging time for her. I find it hard to connect with her. I want to hug her and express my love, but she tends to push me away,” prompting laughter from the audience.
