On May 5, Ryujin from ITZY shared multiple photos of herself taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands on the fan communication platform Bubble.
Despite Ryujin’s cheerful disposition, online users are fixated on an item held by the female celebrity in the picture, which bears a resemblance to a vape cartridge. Further investigation reveals that this object strongly resembles the “Purple Snow”inhaler from the vape company Relx, sparking rumors that Ryujin may have been vaping.
Due to the frequent association of vaping with smoking, it can have detrimental effects on the throat. Therefore, for individuals such as idols who rely on their singing abilities, engaging in this activity is not recommended.
Despite the mixed reactions towards Ryujin’s alleged vaping, there are many critics who are quick to point out that she is not being mindful of her role as a public figure. On the other hand, her fans are quick to come to her defense, arguing that as an adult, Ryujin has the right to make her own choices and there are no laws prohibiting vaping.

Indeed, some even consider Ryujin attractive for carrying out such an action.
Similarly, Ryujin is not the only idol who has been observed using a vaping device. Most recently, WayV members Xiaojun and Yangyang were also seen with a vaping device.
