Grandpa Uaena, who goes by the name Zev, has become an internet sensation after sharing his experience at IU’s concert in Oakland. Uaenas were delighted by the elderly fan’s backstage encounter with the soloist, leading to an outpouring of heartwarming posts on social media.

On February 20, the internet was abuzz with news of YouTuber Zev Does KDrama’s reaction to IU’s “Shopper”MV. The elderly fan gained attention in online communities for praising the soloist’s talent in conveying a story through her music, as well as her exceptional singing and acting abilities.

On July 30, IU’s HEREH world tour made a stop in Oakland, causing great excitement among her devoted Uaenas.

In addition to the exciting concert moments, netizens were delighted to view Zev’s latest video release on July 31, where he shared his unforgettable experience of attending the concert and meeting IU in person!

In the video, Zev mentioned that IU had gifted him a letter, a signed album, a keychain, and a bow tie made from traditional Korean fabric. Additionally, Zev shared that IU had also presented his wife with a traditional Korean hairpin, a hanbok accessory, a handwritten card, and an autographed copy of “The Winning.”

The Uaena revealed at the 5:12 mark of the video that he and his wife had snapped a photo with the singer.
