IU Shares Heartfelt Behind-the-Scenes Moments from “When Life Gives You Tangerines”
On March 24, IU delighted fans by sharing a series of behind-the-scenes photos on her social media, captioned “Volume 3 behind-the-scenes.” These snapshots feature IU in her dual roles of Oh Ae-sun and Yang Geum-myeong from Netflix’s emotionally rich series When Life Gives You Tangerines. The images show her sharing joyful moments with co-star Park Bo-gum, who plays her husband, Yang Gwan-sik, alongside the talented child actors portraying their on-screen children.
Demonstrating her warmth, IU formed a heart shape with her hands alongside Lee Jun-young, who plays Geum-myeong’s boyfriend, Park Yeong-bum. A particularly touching image featured her gently resting her head on the shoulder of the late Kang Myung-joo, who sadly passed away last month following a battle with cancer. This poignant capture served as a heartfelt tribute to her late colleague.
In another candid moment, IU can be seen playfully confronting her on-screen rival, portrayed by Choi Dae-hoon, alongside Park Hae-joon, who plays the older version of Gwan-sik. The playful glare IU directed at Dae-hoon prompted laughter among fans, showcasing their on-set camaraderie.
