Based on the May 9 ranking, IU was the top-ranked female solo singer in terms of trend index. Following closely behind in second and third place were BLACKPINK’s Lisa and BIBI, respectively. Jennie, another member of BLACKPINK, came in fourth place, with Kwon Eunbi, the summer sensation, following closely in fifth place.
Rankify compiled this trend index by utilizing Google Trend scores and the keyword search volume from the previous week, with big data as its underlying basis.
Rankify not only assessed the overall trend index ranking for female solo singers, but also examined preferences based on gender and age group.
Upon examining the trend index, it can be seen that IU has claimed the top spot with 11,379 points.
Lisa came in second place with a total of 8,468 points, a significant increase of 6,918 points from the previous week. In third place was BIBI with 8,333 points, showing a respectable increase of 1,470 points from the previous week.
The gender preference analysis showed that IU, who ranked first, is favored by 37% of males and 63% of females. In second place, Lisa is preferred by an equal percentage of males and females at 37%. BIBI, who placed third, is the top choice among 55% of males and 45% of females.
In regards to age group preferences, IU is favored by 13% of teenagers, 30% of individuals in their 20s, 24% of those in their 30s, 21% of those in their 40s, and 12% of people in their 50s.
