IVE Successfully Debuts at America’s Largest Music Festival

The group made an appearance at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 3rd (local time), which was held at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois. They delivered a captivating set that lasted 45 minutes.

Lollapalooza, a renowned music festival that originated in Chicago in 1991, features a diverse lineup of popular genres such as pop and rock. This year, IVE, the only K-pop girl group invited, had the opportunity to perform alongside internationally recognized artists.

IVE made a grand entrance accompanied by a band, starting off their performance with their hit song “I AM.”They impressed the audience with their versatility by performing rock versions of “ROYAL”and “Accendio.”The group then captured the attention of the crowd with their contrasting stage presence. To provide some relief from the scorching heat, IVE performed a summer festival remix of “Off The Record,”which was followed by energetic performances of “Baddie”and “ELEVEN,”leading the audience in a massive sing-along.

The crowd remained captivated as IVE delivered their one-of-a-kind renditions of “HEYA,” “After LIKE,” “LOVE DIVE,” and “Kitsch.” Their electrifying energy reached its peak as they closed the concert with their debut English single, “All Night,” leaving the audience in a state of pure joy. The setlist was carefully curated, showcasing the group’s musical journey from their first album to their most recent hits.

During their current world tour, IVE has reportedly been fully devoted to preparing for their performance at Lollapalooza. As a result of their hard work, the group flawlessly executed 11 songs with a live band for 45 minutes.

During the world tour, the leader of IVE, Ahn Yu-jin, conveyed her appreciation through Starship Entertainment, stating that the Lollapalooza stage had been a frequent topic of discussion among the members. The band and dance team had strived to showcase their best during the performance, and they were overjoyed by the support and cheers from the DIVE (fandom name) members and the audience. After their highly acclaimed performance at Lollapalooza, IVE has announced their first world tour encore concert, “SHOW WHAT I HAVE,” which will take place at KSPO DOME in Seoul on August 10th and 11th. The group will then continue their tour to Japan, performing at Summer Sonic 2024 in Osaka on August 17th and Tokyo on August 18th. Fans can also catch their “SHOW WHAT I HAVE” encore concert at Tokyo Dome on September 4th and 5th.
