izna Celebrates Debut Mini-Album “N/a” with Enthusiastic Showcase in Seoul
On November 25, the up-and-coming girl group izna, comprising members Mai, Bang Jeemin, Yoon Jiyoon, Koko, Ryu Sarang, Choi Jungeun, and Jeong Saebi, officially launched their debut mini-album titled “N/a” at a showcase event in Seoul.
The Formation of izna
izna was formed from the winners of Mnet’s competitive show I-LAND 2, with the group selected by a global audience spanning 217 countries. This diverse fanbase underscores the international appeal and potential of the group.

During the showcase, top winner Choi Jungeun shared her mixed feelings of excitement and nervousness about embarking on their music journey. Bang Jeemin, who secured the second spot, expressed her gratitude towards their fans, promising spectacular performances ahead. The debut album “N/a” symbolizes the courage and ambition of young women ready to overcome obstacles and embrace new challenges. The album’s title track, “IZNA,” features a hip-hop style characterized by a catchy chorus and minimalist beats, expertly crafted by The Black Label’s renowned producers, including Teddy, who played a crucial role in its development.

The group expressed immense satisfaction with “IZNA,”with Bang Jeemin highlighting it as an ideal representation of their identity. Teddy also collaborated on another track within the album named “Timebomb.” Yoon Jiyoon emphasized the invaluable support and guidance they received from Teddy, particularly appreciating his insights on the creative process.
