Jack Doherty Suspended from Kick Following McLaren Crash While Using Phone

Jack Doherty is a well-known streamer on Kick, who has faced numerous controversies in his career. These include legal action against his bodyguard for assault, accusations of using a racial slur, and organizing a fight club where a man knocked out a woman.

Now, he finds himself in hot water again after crashing his vehicle while distracted by his phone during a livestream, which ultimately resulted in his ban on Kick.

During the stream, the 20-year-old was seen checking the chat on his phone while speeding in his new McLaren on a wet road. He subsequently lost control of the car and collided with a guardrail, exclaiming, “Oh no! No!”

After exiting the car, Jack filmed the badly damaged vehicle and showed his cameraman, who had been in the passenger seat, bleeding from his face.

“Bro, my whole f**king car, bro. No f**king way,” he said while capturing the wreckage on camera. “Oh my gosh, there’s no f**king—Michael, here,” he continued, passing the camera to the cameraman and asking him to film while he stood beside the car.

An ambulance arrived shortly after the incident, and thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. However, Jack’s Kick account was rapidly banned for endangerment following the crash.

Many viewers expressed outrage over the streamer’s dangerous driving habits. “I really hope his insurance sees this clip and denies any claim he tries to file stating it wasn’t his fault,” one commenter stated.

“The idiot could have killed someone. Don’t use your phone while driving under any conditions, good or bad,” another user remarked.

“Speeding in the rain, distracted by your phone—that’s a dangerous combination. Hope the passenger is alright and that no one else got hurt,” another viewer added.

This incident follows a previous controversy where Jack alarmed viewers by hitting baseballs off the roof of a building, with many highlighting the potential danger to pedestrians or drivers below.
