Jake Paul has agreed to UFC Bantamweight Champion ‘Suga’ Sean O’Malley’s invitation to face off in an MMA match and potentially “rescue”UFC 303.
Leading up to the June 29 event, UFC 303 has been facing intense scrutiny, as there have been rumors circulating that the highly anticipated match between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler may not take place.
The rumors began to circulate after the press conference for the Dublin pay-per-view was unexpectedly delayed. Although the fight was still being considered, sources indicate that the UFC is exploring other possibilities.
According to Ariel Helwani, the status of the bout is uncertain and the UFC is currently exploring options for either finding a new opponent for Chandler or scheduling a completely different fight.

Amidst the swirling rumors, Sean O’Malley made his stance clear by tweeting, “I am willing to take on Jake Paul to ensure the success of UFC 303.”
‘The Problem Child’ wasted no time in accepting the challenge, as he was already in search of a new dance partner after his scheduled bout with Mike Tyson was postponed until November.
“He responded by saying that he would be in an MMA fight before Tyson, tagging rival MMA company PFL. He then warned Sean that he possesses the skills and determination to defeat him.”

“He confidently responded, stating that O’Malley would surely be defeated in MMA. According to him, O’Malley’s small stature would not be able to withstand the competition. He also mentioned the upcoming PFL vs UFC event on June 29th.”
Despite Jake Paul’s plans to make his MMA debut in 2024, the recent Mike Tyson situation has caused uncertainty and put his debut on hold.
