Jake Paul Cautions Against UFC Fighter Showdown as “Insane” Boxing Knockout Clip Emerges

Jake Paul has been cautioned about calling out UFC star Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira after some “crazy”footage from his amateur boxing days emerged online.

Throughout his career, Jake Paul has not hesitated to call out top names in the fighting world. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has targeted Conor McGregor numerous times, as well as Jorge Masvidal.

After his victory over ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry last July, the ‘Problem Child’ escalated the tension by challenging current UFC light heavyweight champion Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira to a fight. The Brazilian fighter did not completely dismiss the challenge.

Since then, Jake has been warned multiple times about the perils of facing ‘Poatan’ due to his formidable skills. This concern intensified after footage of Alex in boxing matches surfaced online.

In the short clips, Poatan showcases explosive power, knocking down several opponents and relentlessly pushing them against the ropes. “The knockout was crazy,” one viewer remarked.

“This is why Jake Paul calling out Alex Pereira is actually even worse than the Mike Tyson fight,” said another viewer. “He KOs Jake Paul in two rounds,” they added.

“Jake Paul doesn’t want any of that smoke. He stands no chance,” commented another viewer, while another added, “And Jake thinks he can beat him,” followed by laughing emojis.

As mentioned, the social media star has not shied away from any challenges. He is set to fight ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson in November. Although Jake is viewed as the favorite, he understands that the heavyweight legend still possesses significant knockout power.

One obstacle in pursuing a matchup with ‘Poatan’ is that the Brazilian is still under contract with the UFC. Moreover, UFC president Dana White has shown little interest in collaborating with Jake, resulting in a history of conflict between them.

Therefore, those concerned about a potential bout between Jake Paul and Pereira need not worry for the time being.
