Jake Paul Criticizes Mike Tyson’s New Rules for Super Fight Amid Major Threats

Jake Paul has issued a stern warning to Mike Tyson, claiming he’s stepping into Mike’s “playground” with all the updated rules for their upcoming fight.

In March, the boxing world was taken by surprise when Jake Paul and Mike Tyson announced their fight. Although it was initially set for July, Tyson faced an ulcer flare-up that forced him to withdraw.

The bout has since been rescheduled for mid-November, with Tyson back in training and regaining his fitness. Both fighters are optimistic that the fight will take place this time, and Jake has not arranged for a backup opponent.

While they aim to fight under professional boxing rules, there have been modifications to the round durations, which Jake attributes to Mike’s preferences.

“You’re the one who wanted eight two-minute rounds,” the ‘Problem Child’ remarked during the first pre-fight press conference, as he responded to Tyson’s desire for shorter rounds.

“It could be to his advantage. I think it’s also smart that he’s doing that. I’m fighting on all of his rules and what he wanted,” Jake Paul told the Daily Mail.

“He wanted it to be a pro fight. He wanted eight, two-minute rounds. So I’m giving him everything he wants. I’m going to his playground, and I’m going to beat his a*s.”

Jake Paul is set to face boxing icon Mike Tyson live on Netflix this November.

The social media sensation acknowledged that Tyson appears “athletic” and “strong” in recent training videos.

“He’s still wanting to do it, and he believes he can beat my a*s truly behind the scenes,” Jake stated.

The 58-year-old Tyson will undergo extensive pre-fight assessments to ensure he is fit to compete. Netflix, along with other promoters, are closely monitoring his condition.
