Jake Paul is not holding back when it comes to his thoughts on boxer Tommy Fury’s split from Molly Mae Hague. He referred to the Love Island alum as a “dumbass”for reportedly “cheating”on his fiance.
On August 14, Molly Mae, an influencer, revealed her unexpected separation from fiance Tommy Fury through an emotional Instagram post, expressing her extreme distress over the situation.
Despite Mae’s claim in a vlog a year earlier that she had been “solo parenting”for over a week due to her partner’s hectic schedule, many fans were not shocked by their recent breakup.
Despite facing harsh criticism on social media, Fury’s reputation has been tarnished with numerous negative comments about his actions with Molly. In light of this, Jake Paul has decided to share his thoughts on the matter.
During an August interview, Paul was questioned about his thoughts on Fury and he immediately began berating his rival for his recent breakup.
“According to Jake, the chance to compete on such a grand stage and platform is truly remarkable, but unfortunately, he was caught cheating and is now divorced with the responsibility of being a single father. This has caused his worth to decrease significantly. As a result, he may need additional funds, causing our offers and prices to continue to decrease.”
“While I sympathize with him, it’s hard not to see his actions as foolish,”he added, playfully mentioning the idea of enlisting Molly Mae to assist with promoting W, his brand for men’s fragrance and hygiene.
Jake and Fury’s animosity towards each other is longstanding. The two fighters have been engaged in a heated rivalry for years and finally had a showdown in the boxing ring in February 2023.
At the time of writing, Fury remains the only boxer to hand Paul a loss. Initially, Jake had expressed interest in a rematch with Fury, which would be broadcasted live on Netflix. However, Fury ultimately declined the offer in favor of a potential fight with Mike Tyson, as revealed by Paul in a recent interview.
In November 2024, Jake is scheduled to glove up against none other than boxing legend Mike Tyson on the streaming platform. He believes this is an opportunity that Fury has missed out on.
Currently, Fury has chosen to stay silent on social media in regards to his breakup with Molly Mae, despite commenters demanding a reaction from him.
