Jake Paul has presented Mike Tyson with an enticing offer of an additional $5 million for their upcoming fight, contingent upon meeting a specific challenge. Failing to do so will lead to a rather permanent consequence.
The announcement of a boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson left many professional boxers and fans skeptical. Although they had flirted with the idea before, the prospect of it actually happening seemed unlikely.
Initially scheduled for July 20, the fight was postponed after Tyson experienced an ulcer flare-up during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles. The highly anticipated matchup has now been rescheduled for November 15, but concerns remain regarding the health of the 58-year-old boxing legend.
In light of these worries, Tyson will undergo extensive pre-fight medical evaluations requested by Netflix and other stakeholders. In contrast, Jake Paul is exhibiting confidence and has not arranged for a substitute fighter, even going as far as making playful wagers with the boxing icon.
“Mikey, Mikey, if you can endure more than four rounds with me, I’ll throw in an additional $5 million,” declared the ‘Problem Child’ in a TikTok post from October 8, while displaying stacks of cash on his chest and stomach.
“But, if you can’t, you’ll have to get a tattoo that reads ‘I love Jake Paul’. So, what do you say? Deal or no deal?”

This isn’t the first instance of Jake Paul making a tattoo-related wager in one of his fights. In 2021, he fought Tyron Woodley, who was obligated to get a “I love Jake Paul” tattoo as part of their agreement.
In a rather inventive manner, Woodley chose to place that tattoo on his middle finger.
Mike Tyson, known for his own iconic tattoos, including the famous tribal design on his face, might not be keen on permanently branding himself with ‘I love Jake Paul’. Despite having joked about tattoo removal in the past, Tyson’s facial tattoo has led to other athletes needing to account for similar designs due to copyright and other legal implications.
Chances are, he wouldn’t opt for a ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattoo on his forehead anytime soon.
