YouTuber Jake Paul recently shared his thoughts on who would emerge victorious in a hypothetical boxing match between Hawk Tuah star Haliey Welch and JoJo Siwa.
On Tuesday, October 8, Haliey Welch welcomed the talented dancer and singer JoJo Siwa to her podcast, Talk Tuah. Although the episode bore the provocative title “I’m fighting JoJo Siwa,” the two creators appeared to put their online disagreements behind them.
In July, Welch expressed her desire to challenge Siwa in the ring during a discussion with Asim Zaidi, the president of Karate Combat. “It’s gotta be JoJo Siwa,” Welch declared when asked who she would like to face.
Instead of engaging in a physical confrontation, the two discussed their relationship deal-breakers and shared insights into their personal lives during the podcast.
To build anticipation for the episode, Welch and Siwa teased their collaboration with a promotional video. As they came face to face, Siwa playfully stated, “Can’t back out now.”
Welch’s business associate and professional boxer Jake Paul took to Instagram to weigh in, commenting, “Sorry Haliey, JoJo would win.”
Many fans sided with Paul, claiming Welch would “100%” lose to Siwa in a match, while others supported the Tennessee native.
Despite some fans cautioning Welch to avoid conflict with Siwa, this podcast episode could potentially boost Talk Tuah’s status as one of the top podcasts on Spotify.
Currently, Welch’s podcast ranks 12th in the United States, although it previously held the fourth position after only two episodes had aired.
Her launch event occurred on Saturday, October 5, at Dreamhack Atlanta, where a large crowd of fans welcomed her to the Kick community.
