Jake Paul reacts to TikToker’s discovery of his discounted merchandise

Jake Paul responded to a TikToker’s claim that all of his new products had already been put on clearance since their launch in June.

With a line of men’s body care, the younger Paul brother successfully entered the market and raised over $14 million to launch his brand ‘W’, which is exclusively sold at Walmart.

Currently, a body wash, deodorant, and body spray have been released and are available for purchase as of June 2024. A soap and a two-in-one shampoo are also in the works and are expected to be released later this year.

Despite Jake’s claim that there is a good reason behind it, one woman on TikTok gained viral attention for sharing a video of the new body care line on clearance, with discounts of over fifty percent off.

Ashley, also known as ‘ashleyandblairbeauty’ on TikTok, revealed that W’s deodorant and body spray were both priced at $3 USD, despite being in stock. She also pointed out that the body wash was being sold for $4 to $5 USD.

Ashley expressed her confusion upon discovering that Jake Paul’s products may not have sold well or if he was simply testing out a new business idea. She also mentioned that when the products were initially released, numerous commenters had praised Jake’s line as being “really good”.

Taking this into consideration, Ashley urged customers to explore the clearance area at Walmart in case the cost had hindered them from testing out W before.

After viewing the TikTok, Jake posted a comment stating that the products were located in the clearance aisle due to the end caps being misplaced, damaged, or possibly stolen. This caused confusion for certain Walmart employees who were unsure of where to place the products.

The influencer claimed that this had occurred multiple times, but he also asserted that the brand was still on course to generate $50 million in its inaugural year and become the largest launch in Walmart’s history.

“Jake concluded by expressing appreciation for the video, but also mentioned that it was slightly misleading.”

As Ashley appeared in the comments, fans were taken aback and labeled him as “big mad”, speculating whether he had been provoked by the influencer-turned-boxer.

One person questioned, “How is it misleading? It’s exactly what she witnessed.”They also noted that there was no possible way for Ashley to be aware of the “business numbers”that Jake was claiming.
