Jake Paul receives warning & challenge from Mike Tyson’s last opponent

According to former heavyweight boxer Kevin McBride, a single powerful punch from Mike Tyson will be enough to defeat Jake Paul on July 20.

On July 11, 2005, McBride achieved a RTD victory against Tyson, making him the most recent boxer to defeat the former undisputed heavyweight champion.

Despite Tyson being 38 years old and no longer in his prime during their fight, McBride had firsthand experience enduring blows from one of the most powerful punchers in boxing history.

Despite the 30-year age difference between Tyson, 57, and Paul, 27, he remains confident that Tyson’s power will ultimately determine the outcome of the bout, as shared with Instant Casinos.

According to McBride, the videos posted by Mike Tyson clearly showcase his incredible power. Even though they may only be short clips, the impact is unbelievable. McBride predicts that if Tyson connects with Jake Paul, the latter will be seeing stars for at least a week. McBride believes that Tyson will quickly time Paul in the first few rounds, leading to a swift victory.

Despite his advanced age, Tyson’s power has remained intimidating throughout his professional career and even in his exhibition fights. This was evident in his 2020 bout against former pound-for-pound champion Roy Jones Jr., where his impressive knockout ratio was on full display.

McBride not only foresees Tyson winning the fight, but he also envisions himself defeating “The Problem Child”if he were to ever face him in the ring.

If Jake Paul becomes the last man to defeat Mike Tyson, I would hope that he would give me the chance to fight him as well. In doing so, he would have the opportunity to also defeat both Tyson and McBride, making him the last man to beat both of them. As a former 19-year professional, I would eagerly join him in the ring.

Despite not competing in any exhibition fights since his last professional fight in 2011, 50-year-old McBride remains confident in his chances against Paul.

Despite not being a well-known fighter, the chances of him securing a match with one of the sport’s top box-office draws may be slim.
