Jake Paul roasted after disguising himself as Travis Kelce at Fanatics Fest

Jake Paul’s disguise as Travis Kelce at Fanatics Fest in NYC sparked criticism from online users who were unimpressed and annoyed.

As he gears up for his highly-anticipated fight against Mike Tyson on November 15, YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has been taking advantage of the various press opportunities leading up to his toughest match yet.

During the weekend of August 16-18, Paul attended Fanatics Fest in NYC, which is a top sports convention for athletes and celebrities to enjoy all things related to sports. The event offers exclusive merchandise and rare collectibles for attendees to purchase.

Instead of dressing as himself, Paul chose to show up in a Travis Kelce disguise, which still drew crowds just as effectively.

The professional boxer proudly sported Kelce’s last name and number on his iconic red Kansas City Chiefs jersey as he made his way out to greet a group of fans.

Despite betr, the leading sports media and gaming company founded by Paul, posting a viral TikTok, fans were not impressed by his costume.

“A netizen joked that they would be angry if they were Travis Kelce.”

“Another person expressed their frustration with the tool, stating that they wished for Tyson to suffer harm and inflict pain on his opponent when they eventually face off.”

“A third person added that the little boy attempting to pass as a grown man was not fooling anyone.”

Some argued that it should have been obvious that the person at the convention was not Kelce, as Paul’s distinct features were easily recognizable.

“Someone made the observation that it is not Travis who has tattoos.”

“Another person commented that it was a major failure.”

During a press conference at the Javits Center in Hell’s Kitchen, Paul also confronted his upcoming opponent at Fanatics Fest. As the tension between them escalated, Tyson playfully pushed Paul, causing the YouTuber to laugh it off.

Paul suggested a significant rule alteration for their November fight, even proposing that he and Tyson compete in ten three-minute rounds instead of the usual eight two-minute rounds as they exchanged words with their opponents.
