Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson called out as “scam” by boxing legend who wants Jake fight

Legendary boxer has labeled Jake Paul’s upcoming bout with Mike Tyson as a “scam”and expressed his desire to challenge the YouTuber-turned-boxer himself.

Despite initial skepticism, when Jake Paul and Mike Tyson announced their fight, many were quick to point out the significant age difference between them. Tyson, at 58-years-old, was seen as the underdog against the younger Paul.

Despite being scheduled for the first fight, the former heavyweight boxing champion was forced to withdraw due to an ulcer flare-up he experienced during a flight. In his absence, Jake stepped in and emerged victorious against Mike Perry. However, the highly anticipated fight with ‘Iron’ Mike has been pushed back to mid-November.

Despite some critics’ doubts, there are still those who believe that the fight between Tyson and Jones Jr. will eventually take place. However, former boxer Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch is not among them, as he sees Tyson’s health issues as a major obstacle and doubts that the fight will ever come to fruition.

Butterbean stated during a recent Q&A at Georgia Pop and Horror Con that a fight between him and Tyson is highly unlikely. He believes the idea of a fight has been a ploy all along to increase Jake’s popularity, which has been successful.

Despite all the hype surrounding this man, it is highly unlikely that he will ever step into the ring with Tyson. The truth is, they were never even considering a fight against each other. Promoters would never allow it, as they would want to secure the biggest fight possible for both fighters. It’s clear that this has been a deceitful scheme from the very start.

The 58-year-old ex-super heavyweight has personally challenged Jake, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, to a fight with a $2 million prize for the winner.

In addition, he has shared TikToks of his training sessions and has called out the social media star to respond. “Jake Paul, why are you hesitating? Let’s make this happen,”he exclaimed in his latest challenge.

Jake and Tyson, the ‘Problem Child’, have both expressed their confidence that the November fight will take place. However, there are reports that Jake has Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. as a contingency plan. Therefore, we will have to wait and see.
