Jake Paul wants big rule change for Mike Tyson fight as fake rules spread

Despite facing countless critics and skeptics in his transition into professional boxing, Jake Paul always had the unwavering support of ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.

The ex-Heavyweight champion has showered Jake and his brother Logan with compliments for their decision to enter the boxing ring. This sparked speculation about a potential match between the ‘Problem Child’ and ‘Iron’ Mike, which will now come to fruition in the summer as they face off in Dallas, Texas, with the fight being broadcast live on Netflix.

Despite the age and weight gap between the two fighters, there have been numerous speculations regarding potential modifications to the rules for the fight. There are those who believe that head guards and heavier boxing gloves will be utilized in order to minimize the impact of their punches on each other.

It has been confirmed that the fight will be an exhibition, as of now. However, both Jake and Mike are seeking to have this changed so that the clash will be counted on their professional records.

“Amidst all the misinformation surrounding our upcoming fight, Mike and I are committed to having a professional match with full-face shots. We have formally requested this to the commission and are determined to make it an all-out war,”stated the former YouTuber now turned boxer in an interview with FOX News.

“Numerous fabricated videos have circulated claiming that physical contact is impossible due to oversized gloves, but these are simply untrue.”

According to an article in USA Today, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations has mandated that Tyson must successfully complete both an electroencephalogram (EEG) and an electrocardiogram (EKG) before the fight can be officially recognized as a professional bout.

However, it is still uncertain if that will be the case.
