Jake Paul’s Olympic Dream: Winning Gold for USA in Boxing by 2028

Jake Paul, a former influencer, has set his sights on winning a gold medal for the United States at the 2028 Olympics, which will be held in LA.

Jake Paul has quickly made a name for himself in the boxing world, securing victories against notable UFC names such as Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz.

Prior to his November match against legendary boxer Mike Tyson, the 27-year-old Paul revealed his desire to compete in the Olympics, citing his frustration with watching the USA consistently lose in boxing.

During the airing of an August 9 episode of “BS w/ Jake Paul”, ‘The Problem Child’ announced his intentions to compete in the 2028 Olympics.

“He expressed frustration with constantly waiting for another gold for team USA and stated that he is not retiring. He believes that this experience has extended his boxing career by a few more years, and he is excited to continue representing Los Angeles and the United States.”

Paul is adamant about competing and has made a promise that the gold medal will be his.

According to TMZ, Jake Paul would not have been able to compete in the Olympics prior to 2016 because he was a professional boxer and only amateurs were allowed. However, this is no longer the case and it is now a goal that the influencer is determined to achieve.

In July, Paul announced that he had joined the US Olympic boxing team as an “honorary coach”to instruct the fighters in meditation, breathwork, and maintaining composure during their matches.

He added that he made an attempt to join the team, but unfortunately missed the cutoff by three weeks.

Paul’s objective is not only to achieve a gold medal, but also to become a boxing champion. He also disclosed that the WBA has expressed interest in having him compete against Julio Cesar Chavez for the WBA belt.

Despite the anticipation and constant buzz surrounding the announcement, Jake Paul won’t face off against Mike Tyson until November 15 in a highly-anticipated Netflix match.
