Jake Paul’s Potential Mistake in Choosing Ex-UFC Star Over Mike Tyson as Replacement

Jake Paul has been cautioned by UFC legend Michael Bisping that he would be making a grave error if he were to face Mike Perry, as the Brit believes the fight will not be a simple one for the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

Despite the postponement of Jake Paul’s fight with Mike Tyson due to the 57-year-old’s ulcer flare-up, numerous fighters from the boxing and MMA community wasted no time in offering themselves as potential replacements.

The vlogger-turned-fighter has received offers from notable names such as Amir Khan, Darren Till, and Ryan Garcia, but has not yet announced whether he will be competing in a match before his rescheduled fight with Tyson in November.

Although there have been rumors that he may face former UFC star ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry in July in order to stay busy, no official confirmation has been made yet.

Despite this, Jake has been cautioned about the possibility of facing off against the former UFC star. “When it comes to Mike Perry, he is an absolute beast. Jake Paul’s boxing skills are impressive,”Michael Bisping stated in his video on June 14.

Despite facing the formidable Mike Tyson, there was still a possibility of losing the fight in a catastrophic manner. He underestimates his opponent, Mike Perry, due to his fame and popularity, thinking he can easily defeat him. However, this is a misconception as Perry is a true warrior and a prominent figure in the bare-knuckle community.

Bisping stated that in his opinion, if Jake does go through with facing Perry, it would be a significant error on his part. In fact, Bisping went as far as to say it would be a monumental mistake.

“According to the former UFC champion, Jake Paul’s mistake will not go unnoticed as Mike, a true fighter, will not back down. With his strong chin and unwavering determination, the fire within Mike continues to burn.”

A potential clash between the ‘Problem Child’ and Perry would certainly be intriguing, particularly since Jake is considering an MMA debut. However, it is uncertain if they will ultimately face each other in the ring.
