What Happened to Jamie Foxx?

In 2023, Jamie Foxx experienced a brain bleed and a stroke, life-threatening conditions that nearly cost him his life.

On April 11, Foxx began feeling unwell with a severe headache and requested Aspirin. Tragically, he lost consciousness before he could take any medication, resulting in nearly 20 days of amnesia.

Initially misdiagnosed, Foxx received a Cortisone shot from a physician and was sent home. However, his sister’s intuition led her to take him to Piedmont Hospital, where a doctor delivered alarming news: Foxx was suffering from a brain bleed that had caused a stroke. Immediate surgery was critical to save his life.

During the surgery, Foxx described experiencing a tunnel rather than the light often associated with near-death experiences. Once he regained consciousness, the doctor informed his sister that, while a full recovery was possible, it would be a challenging and painful journey ahead.
