Exploring His Drinking Preferences

During the episode, Jang Geun-suk shared insights into his approach to drinking. He stated, “I enjoy drinking but prefer not to overindulge. I can’t pinpoint my exact limit because I’ve never truly gotten drunk. When I drink too much, I simply feel tired and go to sleep.” This self-awareness reflects a thoughtful stance on alcohol consumption.

A Wild Night with Choo Sung-hoon

When the conversation turned to his drinking experiences, Jang recounted a particularly memorable night involving broadcaster Choo Sung-hoon.“I once drank 12 bottles of wine with Choo in Roppongi, and at one moment, I saw him swimming on the street, which surprised me immensely!” he revealed, blending humor with astonishment.

A Call to Choo Sung-hoon

The episode took a hilarious turn when Jang Geun-suk decided to call Choo Sung-hoon live to verify his tale. Choo confirmed the events with a chuckle: “Yes, I did drink a lot and ended up swimming, but I wasn’t alone; a friend was with me. We enjoyed the moment, even if we weren’t exactly making progress.” He jokingly added, “To be honest, Jang Geun-suk can’t hold his liquor as well as I can.”

Unfazed, Jang affirmed, “I think he’s dreaming about that part. I remember everything.” Observing this playful banter, Ha Ji-won laughed and quipped, “He doesn’t seem to want to admit the truth!”

Quitting Solo Drinking

Jang also reflected on why he chose to cease drinking alone.“I was concerned that I might impulsively reach out to my ex-girlfriend without reason. Asking someone, ‘Are you asleep?’ could come off as odd, ”he noted. Yet, he insisted, “It’s not a drinking habit; it’s simply unresolved feelings.”

In jest, MC Ahn Jung-hwan remarked, “You must have made that mistake before; that’s why you stopped drinking solo!” This comment added another layer of humor to the conversation, showcasing the light-hearted nature of the episode.
