The series has consistently provided warmth, empathy, and comfort, breaking stereotypes about divorce through the insights of divorce lawyers, which has earned it acclaim from viewers.
The show’s popularity is reflected in its impressive ratings. Episode 15 achieved a nationwide rating of 16.7% (according to Nielsen Korea), securing the lead in its time slot and being the top mini-series broadcast on Saturday.
As Cha Eun-kyung (played by Jang Nara) departs from the Daejeong law firm to begin a new chapter in her life, fellow lawyer Han Yu-ri (Nam Ji-hyun) also starts her own journey of independence at Daejeong. The touching journey of these two lawyers, who now find themselves as rivals, navigating real issues and reaching agreements has resonated deeply with fans. The finale’s poignant moment, where Daejeong’s head Oh Dae-gyu (Jung Jae-sung) entrusts his case to Cha Eun-kyung, has heightened viewers’ anticipation for the series finale. Leading up to this climax, Jang Nara, Nam Ji-hyun, Kim Jun-han, and Pyo Ji-hoon shared their thoughts and highlights they hope viewers pay attention to in the final episode.
Jang Nara expressed her gratitude, stating, “I sincerely thank everyone who watched ‘Good Partner’. I envisioned this beautiful team being loved, and it was emotional to witness the affection you all shared for us. Although the series is concluding, I wish you always have a ‘Good Partner’ by your side in tough times, and I hope for your happiness.” She emphasized key moments from the finale, saying, “Watch for the relationships that evolved as they became good partners to one another and the efforts they made towards their choices.”
Nam Ji-hyun reflected on her experience, saying, “I only have fond and grateful memories from filming. The set was filled with care and respect for each other until the very end, and I believe those memories will stay with me for a long time. I will always cherish the people from ‘Good Partner’.” She also extended her thanks to the audience, sharing, “Thank you for the immense love you’ve given us. I hope our drama has made you reflect at times and, at other times, provided comfort like a friend. Your support has filled me with deep gratitude, and I will return this love by becoming an even better version of myself in the future.” Highlighting critical moments, she noted, “The growth and change of Eun-kyung and Yu-ri are significant, and they have both taken their first steps towards becoming better versions of themselves. Please watch how they continue to support and rely on one another.”
Kim Jun-han, who charmed viewers as Cha Eun-kyung’s loyal supporter and the gentle yet charismatic Jung Woo-jin, shared his sentiments about the show, stating, “In hindsight, every moment of filming was precious. I genuinely thank everyone who became our ‘Good Partner’, and I hope our drama has created lasting memories for you.” With Woo-jin revealed to be the son of Daejeong’s head Oh Dae-gyu, and set to take over leadership of the firm, curiosity around his storyline has grown. Saying goodbye to Eun-ho after spending about seven months filming amidst various weather conditions evokes a mix of emotions.” He concluded, “I aimed to portray a more mature version of myself through Eun-ho, but I recognize there is still room for improvement. Nonetheless, I’m grateful that you perceived my efforts positively, and I vow to continue growing as an actor. Thank you to everyone who loved Eun-ho.” He also teased the final narrative, saying, “Look forward to the concluding story between Yu-ri and Eun-ho as they confront their genuine feelings for one another.”
