Understanding Pokémon GO Raids & Participation
Raids are cooperative battles where trainers unite to defeat formidable Pokémon. To enter a raid, players must have a raid pass. You can obtain one free pass daily by spinning a gym photo disc, or purchase premium passes via the shop.
Additionally, Remote Raid Passes are available, allowing players to join raids from anywhere. However, it’s important to note that remote participants inflict less damage compared to those physically present, so strategizing accordingly is crucial.
Before embarking on a raid, be sure to review the raid boss’s weaknesses and select counter Pokémon to enhance your chances of success. Once you defeat a raid boss, you’ll have an opportunity to capture it using Premier Balls. The quantity of Premier Balls awarded is influenced by various factors, including the damage dealt during the raid, gym control status, and friendship level with fellow trainers.
