A new contender has emerged in the world of Twitch streaming, as FaZe Clan’s JasonTheWeen surpasses notable streamers like Kai Cenat and Jynxzi in overall subscriber count.
We often witness significant shifts within Twitch culture, showcasing new streamers rapidly rising through the subscriber ranks and taking charge of the platform.
This phenomenon has occurred with notable figures such as Ninja following Fortnite’s launch, Jynxzi with his engaging Rainbow Six Siege streams, and streamers like Kai Cenat and xQc have all claimed the top position at various times.
Currently, while JasonTheWeen hasn’t yet secured the title of the most-subscribed Twitch streamer—an accolade held by Ironmouse, who has achieved an incredible milestone of over 300,000 subscribers—he has outpaced these renowned names pivotal to Twitch’s ecosystem.
Jason reached a peak of over 104,000 subscribers, placing him 11th on the all-time peaks subscriber count leaderboard according to TwitchTracker.
This remarkable growth can largely be attributed to the FaZe subathon that took place throughout September 2024, which also propelled Lacy, Plaqueboymax, StableRonaldo, and Silky into the top 20 most-subscribed Twitch streamers as of now.
While Jason is still some distance from Ironmouse’s impressive 300k subscriber count, he may aspire to reach that milestone in the future, especially since Kai Cenat has expressed intentions to reclaim the number one position.
“I want to go ahead and congratulate Ironmouse for breaking my record,” Kai stated. “Clap it up, clap it up. But look though, she really did that, but I promised one thing to my supporters if that was broken. So, we’re gonna have to see what happens in the future.”
