Jennie and G-Dragon Reportedly Keep Distance at 2NE1 Concert Amid Breakup Speculations

On October 6th, the highly anticipated ‘2024 2NE1 Concert: Welcome Back’ occurred at the Olympic Hall, situated within the Songpa Olympic Park in Seoul.

This remarkable event drew considerable attention as both current and former members of YG Entertainment gathered to commemorate 2NE1’s first concert in a decade. Among the notable attendees were Yang Hyun-suk, YG’s chief producer, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and Daesung, along with Se7en, Gummy, WINNER’s Song Mino, Kim Jinwoo, Lee Seunghoon, iKON’s Donghyuk, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, and the new group BABYMONSTER.

Particularly noteworthy was the appearance of G-Dragon and Jennie at the concert.

JENNIE Yang Hye-ji

G-Dragon sported a leather jacket paired with striking orange sunglasses and was seen enjoying the performance next to Yang Hyun-suk. Jennie, meanwhile, opted for a checkered mini skirt, an oversized shirt, and a cap emblazoned with the 2NE1 logo, seated alongside her close friend, actress Yang Hyeji, holding a light stick in support of the group.

Although G-Dragon participated in a group snapshot with fellow YG family members, Jennie was conspicuously missing from that photo.

Later on, Jennie posed for a picture alongside the 2NE1 members, but G-Dragon was not present, leading fans to speculate that the two may be consciously avoiding each other after their rumored breakup.

Dating rumors about the pair initially surfaced back in 2021 when reports suggested they had been in a relationship for a year. However, both artists refrained from confirming or denying the claims, with their management stating, “It is challenging for the company to confirm the private lives of the artists.”

This concert marked the first public sighting of the two together since the rumors, although they are still part of the same agency. Since then, G-Dragon has signed with a different agency, while Jennie focuses on her projects under her own label.
