Jennie Claims Top Spot in October Girl Group Individual Brand Reputation Rankings, Outshining Karina and Jang Wonyoung

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute released its analysis of the October Girl Group Individual Brand Reputation on October 20, revealing that Jennie from BLACKPINK secured the number one position, followed closely by Karina from aespa in second, and Jang Wonyoung from IVE in third.

For this assessment, the institute gathered an impressive 135,672,895 data points spanning from September 20 to October 20, focusing on the brand reputation of 680 individual girl group members. This data collection represented a significant 35.34% increase over the 100,242,961 data points analyzed in September. They utilized consumer behavior metrics to compute the participation, media, communication, and community indices.

This analysis reflects the overall positive and negative perceptions, media visibility, consumer engagement, and communication levels for each girl group member, alongside an evaluation of their brand value to measure influence.

Jennie, who topped the rankings, achieved a stellar participation index of 2,428,883, a media index of 3,383,206, a communication index of 3,647,643, and a community index of 4,711,735, culminating in an impressive total brand reputation index of 14,171,467. This marks a staggering increase of 409.24% compared to her brand reputation index of 2,782,844 from the previous month.

Koo Chang-hwan, head of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, commented, “The analysis for October 2024 shows BLACKPINK’s Jennie in the lead. The data demonstrates a 35.34% growth compared to September. A deeper dive reveals a 13.53% rise in brand consumption, a 22.96% uptick in brand issues, a 48.83% increase in brand communication, and a 41.56% growth in brand outreach.”

In the October brand reputation rankings, the top 30 girl group members included: Jennie from BLACKPINK, Karina from aespa, Jang Wonyoung from IVE, Lisa from BLACKPINK, Hwasa from MAMAMOO, Winter from aespa, Ahn Yujin from IVE, Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation, Jiwon from Cignature, Rosé from BLACKPINK, Kim Chaewon from LE SSERAFIM, Jisoo from BLACKPINK, Sullyoon from NMIXX, Irene from Red Velvet, Rei from IVE, Natty from KISS OF LIFE, Gaeul from IVE, Nayeon from TWICE, Mina from TWICE, Momo from TWICE, Seohyun from Girls’ Generation, Yoona from Girls’ Generation, Saena from FIFTY FIFTY, Sakura from LE SSERAFIM, Ningning from aespa, Giselle from aespa, YooA from OH MY GIRL, Keena from FIFTY FIFTY, Hong Eunchae from LE SSERAFIM, and Lee Chaeyoung from fromis_9.
