As the inaugural guest on “SsookSsook, ”Jennie reflected on her year-long preparation for her upcoming album. She noted, “It’s been a lot of hard work creating this music, but the landscape has transformed drastically. Nowadays, simply putting out a song doesn’t automatically mean it will reach listeners.”This statement highlights the shifting dynamics of music consumption in a rapidly evolving digital era.

Jennie further elaborated on the overwhelming amount of content flooding the market, expressing her desire to create something that resonates with her fans, yet admitting, “I’m uncertain about what that could be.” She mentioned the regular meetings at her label aimed at brainstorming ideas, but acknowledged the difficulty in keeping pace with emerging trends influenced by younger artists.

During the conversation, the production team proposed launching her new track with a dance challenge. In response, Jennie expressed her surprise: “I’ve never participated in a challenge before. No one’s ever invited me to join one, ” indicating her disappointment about missing out on these popular music trends.

Curiously, Jennie asked the team, “How do these challenges typically come together?” to which they explained, “They often form spontaneously in the hallways of music show waiting rooms.”

With a humorous tone, Jennie replied, “Every time I visit, the hallways are empty. Am I just going on the wrong days? I was really hoping someone would invite me, but no one does, ” showcasing her playful frustration.
