On August 9th, Jennie used her Instagram account to share multiple photos and wrote the caption, “August 8th, 8th anniversary.”She also posted the same photos on her Instagram Story.
On that day, various pictures were shared, including ones from BLACKPINK’s early days as rookies. Jennie took a trip down memory lane by uploading concept photos from their debut album as well as some casual shots.
In additional photos, the BLACKPINK members can be seen taking photos together to commemorate their 8th year since their debut. Jennie also posted a screenshot showing the time as 8:08 on August 8th.
On August 8th, BLACKPINK celebrated their 8th debut anniversary since their debut in 2016. To commemorate the occasion, the group released the film “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN CINEMAS”on July 31st. They will also be attending an event for the film on August 9th at 7 PM at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
