Jennifer Lopez’s Netflix Movie Remains Top-Selling Despite Poor Rotten Tomato Rating

Despite its current poor rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Jennifer Lopez’s new Netflix movie is surprisingly at the top of the site’s chart.

Atlas is a sci-fi action movie that follows a data analyst who harbors a strong skepticism towards AI. However, after a mission to capture a rogue robot goes awry, he is forced to adopt and utilize advanced technology.

Despite the impressive cast featuring Simu Liu, Lana Parrilla, Sterling K. Brown, and Mark Strong, the current Rotten Tomatoes score for the movie is only 17%. However, there is still potential for this score to improve.

Another reviewer described the film as “a meaningless, unfeeling mess that fails to create an engaging character to rescue its fading existence.”

One of the more positive critiques was given by The Hollywood Reporter, who described Atlas as a film that is best enjoyed while multitasking with household chores.

Despite receiving negative reviews from critics, Atlas is gaining traction on the streaming service, possibly due to positive reception from regular viewers.

A frequent Rotten Tomato viewer praised the film, stating that it exceeded their expectations and that JLO is heading in the right direction.

Another spectator mentioned that Atlas would be appreciated by “sci-fi enthusiasts.”Meanwhile, a third person challenged the opinions of professional critics by stating, “Despite what the ‘professionals’ say, I really enjoyed this movie. It was definitely worth the two hours.”
