Jeon Somi revealed, “For the past three years, I have developed a tendency to take care of everything by myself at home. I don’t visit dermatologists and I prefer to stick to basic skincare routines at home. However, I have neglected my scalp and it has not been receiving proper care. During the recent promotion of ‘FAST FORWARD,’ I had to undergo frequent dyeing and blow-drying, and unfortunately, I made a mistake which resulted in my hair breaking off.”She further shared, “It was a difficult time for me as there was a noticeable gap at the back of my head. It was truly disheartening.”
Jeon Somi explained, “Despite my idol friends, who are also currently performing, having shorter hair, I thought to myself, ‘It’s not too short, it’s just necessary.’ However, once I actually cut my hair short, I was shocked. Even when I run, my hair stays in place and doesn’t fly around. It’s stuck flat, with choppy bangs that are too short, and it’s been a terrible experience.”
After undergoing hair restoration procedures, Jeon Somi revealed, “It appears that individuals experiencing hair loss can have hair attached. I actively searched for and underwent this procedure. I am now committed to regularly caring for my scalp. Before, I was not consistent with taking supplements, but this experience made me realize their importance. I am seeing improvement now.”
Jeon Somi shared her disappointment, stating, “I inquired my hair stylist about the growth of my hair and they initially said it would grow back by next spring. However, when I asked again, they mentioned it would be by next winter instead.”
After carefully assessing her progress, she announced, “The wound is now concealed, but it was far more severe than one can fathom.”
