“Jeongnyeon” Leads Social Media Buzz Rankings for Two Consecutive Weeks, Kim Tae-ri Excels

In the recent survey conducted by Good Data Corporation, which assessed the buzz surrounding TV and OTT dramas for the week ending in the third week of October, tvN’s “Jeongnyeon” has emerged as the leading title for the second week in a row. This drama not only dominated overall buzz metrics but also excelled in categories such as Voice of Netizens (VON) and social media discussions. Furthermore, Kim Tae-ri captured the top spot in cast-related buzz.

With a stellar weekly buzz score surpassing 30,000 points, “Jeongnyeon” is poised to secure the fourth highest buzz score of 2024. Currently, the leading dramas are “Lovely Runner” , “Queen of Tears” , and “Marry My Husband” .

SBS’s “The Judge from Hell” maintained its position in second place, benefiting from a consistent increase in buzz over four weeks, largely attributed to its star-studded cast, including Park Shin-hye. In third place is MBC’s “Doubt” , which has seen a marked boost in its buzz since its launch, led by Chae Won-bin in the cast rankings.

Although ENA’s “Dear Hyeri” dropped to fourth, it still stands as the second most popular drama in the network’s history, with Shin Hye-sun ranking third among cast buzz. Following closely, JTBC’s dramas “A Virtuous Business” and “Family by Choice” occupied the fifth and sixth spots, respectively, with “A Virtuous Business” experiencing a remarkable 56.9% increase in buzz compared to the previous week.

This analysis included both TV dramas and OTT originals that aired or were scheduled for release from October 14 to October 20, 2024, alongside their respective casts.
