Jeongyeon from TWICE Discusses Sisterly Rivalry and Unexpected Support from Byun Woo-seok

On October 12, a new video entitled “Fall Balladeers with Evenly Ripened Voices Meet TWICE’s Jeongyeon” premiered on the YouTube channel “People by People.”

In this episode, Jeongyeon shared her initial lack of high expectations regarding the earlier “People by People” segment featuring her fellow TWICE member Jihyo. She expressed, “I didn’t think much of it at first because the members share so much content that it felt a bit predictable. However, I was surprised as the viewership continued to grow,” thanking fans for their support.

Furthermore, she recounted a recent visit to her sister, Gong Seung-yeon, saying, “I went to see my sister yesterday. She hadn’t caught the episode with Jihyo yet and wanted us to watch it together. I told her to watch it by herself, but she insisted that we watch it together.”

Earlier in the episode with Jihyo, Jeongyeon humorously recalled, “My sister used to hit me a lot, and it still happens these days. I hope this gets aired so she’ll stop.”

Additionally, she mentioned, “My sister told me that actor Byun Woo-seok, who is in the same agency, called her to advise her to stop hitting her younger sibling. Ironically, right after I asked her to consider airing it so she might ease up, I playfully got hit again after watching that scene,” which elicited laughter among the listeners.
