So I’ll be waiting for it.”

Shortly thereafter, Jessi took to her Instagram to issue an apology. In her statement, she reflected, “Although this situation arose due to my actions, from that moment to now, my irresponsible behavior and failure to respond have harmed many individuals, including the victim, leading to feelings of anger and betrayal. I have regretted this countless times, wishing I could rewind to that moment.”

She elaborated, “Had I taken a photo with the victim, had I acted to protect them, had I approached the police immediately, or given a sincere apology, the victim would not have gone through such pain. I accept full responsibility for all of this. I am aware that mere words cannot grant me forgiveness. Nevertheless, I am committed to rectifying my mistakes and supporting the victim’s recovery. It might be too late, but I earnestly seek forgiveness. I acknowledge my errors.”

The uproar began following the emergence of a video revealing a minor fan being assaulted after requesting a picture with Jessi. This incident quickly implicated Jessi in the fan assault case.

A representative for Jessi informed Xports News that she was not connected to the assailant and had no involvement in the altercation. “The police were at the scene, and we cooperated fully with their investigation,” the spokesperson stated.

However, skepticism arose when videos revealed Jessi allegedly intervening, stirring speculation about her acquaintance with the attacker. It was later uncovered that the assailant had connections to Koala, a producer close to Jessi, which further ignited the controversy. Internet users began theorizing that the Taiwanese-American attacker might have ties to triads or Korean gang affiliations.
