Ji Chang-wook’s Hard Work on the Agave Harvest

During the August 16th broadcast of JTBC’s “My Name is Gabriel”, the 7th episode featured Ji Chang-wook harvesting agave, the main ingredient for tequila.

Despite being in unfamiliar terrain, Ji Chang-wook continued to have a good time, capturing photos and expressing his love for the sandy breeze. However, things took a turn when he reached the agave field and had to harvest the plant with heavy equipment weighing over 10 kilograms. As a result, Ji was drenched in sweat, his face turning red and struggling to catch his breath. He couldn’t help but exclaim, “This is not what I expected.”

Watching the episode in the studio, Ji Chang-wook couldn’t help but laugh and share his genuine sentiments, remarking, “My colleagues are like masters in the agave field, while I am simply a mere mortal consumed by the fast-paced city life.”

Despite the difficult and physically demanding nature of the task, Ji Chang-wook proudly proclaimed, “It’s really tough work, but I did it,”while also expressing his admiration and satisfaction for the job. “Not many people can say they have harvested agave after drinking tequila, but I am one of them,”he declared, earning smiles from viewers who were charmed by his half-day career.
