When the conversation shifted to the nude scene in “Queen Woo,”Ji Chang-wook expressed his reservations: “It’s unfortunate. Much of the attention surrounding that scene seems to stem from its nudity. While it may have piqued interest, I personally regret that it overshadowed other aspects of the production.”
He elaborated on his experience: “Initially, I was thrilled to receive the cameo offer. It presented a unique opportunity to portray a character with a beard for my first historical drama. The transformation in the makeup room was quite entertaining.”
Ji Chang-wook reminisced about the joy he felt while taking selfies and exploring a different facet of himself through the character. “Donning the costume sparked my desire to participate in a full historical drama someday, making my regret about the scene even more poignant.”
