After taking a break from the platform to prioritize his Christian faith, content creator JiDion has made his return to YouTube with a new piece of content.
Although JiDion briefly reactivated his YouTube account in February 2024, the two-minute video was not a proper return.
Despite being over 20 minutes long, his latest video, titled “DeMarcus Cousins Hangs Out With a Former Yakuza Member,” has already gained tens of thousands of views on the day of its release.
The setting of the video is in Japan, where JiDion discloses that he filmed this new content while on vacation in the country.

“This was not a request, simply a spontaneous and enjoyable addition from my travels in Japan. I hope you found it entertaining!”
In September 2023, JiDion announced his decision to take a hiatus from YouTube. The content creator explained that he had decided to step back and delete all of his prank videos, as they no longer aligned with his personal beliefs.
JiDion explained to his audience that in order to fully surrender his life to God, he also needed to eliminate any wicked actions he may have contributed to the world.
He admitted that as an influencer, he had failed this generation miserably by not contributing positively, but instead, adding to the negativity.
“I can no longer continue to be the person I once was, and I have accepted that I will never be able to return to that state. Therefore, if you are unwilling to end our relationship, I must take the step of ending it myself.”
Although this latest video does not confirm JiDion’s permanent return to content creation, it marks the first complete video he has published in 2 months.
