On July 29th, Jiyeon shared a photo on her SNS account featuring herself with the members of T-ara, in honor of T-ara’s 15th debut anniversary.
Afterwards, she posted a cover photo of “Lies Pt.1”, a popular song by T-ara, which caught people’s interest.
Despite widespread rumors of her divorce from Hwang Jae-gyun, Jiyeon has remained silent and has not made any statements on the matter. As a result, some netizens speculate that this post may serve as her denial of the divorce rumors.
Last month, commentator Lee Kwang-gil caused controversy with a comment he made during a KNN baseball broadcast. During a break in the middle of the game, he mentioned in a personal conversation that Hwang Jae-gyun was divorced. While this comment was not included in the official radio broadcast, viewers who were watching the live stream on YouTube were able to hear it.
Amidst the controversy, the commentator issued an apology, clarifying, “It was simply a misunderstanding. I made a mistake.”Jiyeon’s agency CEO also dismissed the divorce rumors, asserting that they were baseless.
In December 2022, Hwang Jae-gyun and Jiyeon got married. Since then, Jiyeon has been frequently sharing glimpses of her married life on YouTube. However, she is currently on hiatus.
