Joe Rogan Drops in Spotify Podcast Rankings Following Call Her Daddy Kamala Harris Interview

Joe Rogan’s podcast has yet again fallen from the pinnacle of the Spotify charts, recently being overtaken by Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy following a remarkable episode featuring Kamala Harris.

For several years, Joe Rogan’s podcast has consistently ranked among the top shows on Spotify, even after his agreement allowed him to post on multiple platforms.

However, there are occasions when another podcast surges to the forefront, often prompted by a particularly viral episode or clip that gains traction on social media.

On October 2, he lost his top position to The Shawn Ryan Show, just weeks after hosting the podcaster and former US Navy Seal.

Now, yet another podcast has entered the race for the top position, further pushing The Joe Rogan Experience down the US chart and removing it from the number one spot in Spotify’s most popular comedy podcasts.

On October 6, 2024, Alex Cooper interviewed Kamala Harris.

Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy claimed the top position on the US Spotify Comedy podcast chart on October 8, 2024, just two days after her notable interview with the current Vice President and presidential candidate, Kamala Harris.

The other leading comedy podcasts include ChainsFR, Talk Tuah with Haliey Welch, and The LOL Podcast.

As a result of Cooper’s viral episode, Rogan slipped from second to third place on the overall top podcast chart, still trailing The Shawn Ryan Show.

After partnering with Barstool Sports for more than two years, Alex Cooper transitioned to an exclusive deal with Spotify in 2021, significantly elevating the profile of her already famous Call Her Daddy podcast.

Since then, she’s been recognized as the “most-listened podcast by women,” according to her profile on Spotify.

Additionally, another hugely popular female-hosted podcast, Haliey Welch’s Talk Tuah, has also contested Rogan’s top rankings. Welch’s podcast gained immense popularity after introducing her viral “hawk tuah” catchphrase.

She rapidly ascended to fourth on the overall podcast chart after launching her show in September and has consistently stayed just behind Rogan in the comedy rankings.
