Joe Rogan Expresses Concern Over Jake Paul’s Potential Actions in Mike Tyson Fight

Joe Rogan expressed that he would be extremely “bummed” if YouTube sensation Jake Paul manages to secure a victory over boxing icon Mike Tyson in their highly anticipated match this November.

Jake Paul is set to face one of his most formidable opponents yet in the legendary boxer Mike Tyson. The two are scheduled to clash on November 15, 2024, and debates among fans are heating up regarding who will emerge victorious.

Some fans believe that Paul’s youthful energy could lead him to victory, while others argue that Tyson’s vast experience will be enough to defeat the YouTuber. For now, it’s uncertain who will win, but Joe Rogan has voiced his potential disappointment over one possible scenario.

Jake-Paul-Mike-Tyson

In a September 2024 episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan admitted he would be “bummed out” if Jake Paul were to win by knockout.

Although he feels that Jake Paul is often “dismissed” in the boxing community due to his YouTuber background, he recognizes that the influencer is “perfectly capable” of knocking out Mike Tyson.

“He has real power,” Rogan stated. “I really hope he doesn’t knock Mike Tyson out. I would just be real bummed out to see Mike get KO’d at 58 years old.”

Rogan elaborated that if Paul makes a mistake, Tyson could exploit that with his ability to close distance unexpectedly. He noted, “Mike also has layers upon layers of attacks that are in his mind. He’s forgotten more about boxing than Jake Paul has ever remembered.”

Joe Rogan has been vocal about the Paul vs. Tyson matchup. Reflecting on his previous comments, he favors Jake to win but acknowledges the formidable “monster” that is Mike Tyson.

“58-year-old Mike Tyson is not 50-year-old Mike Jones who lives down the street,” he remarked in an earlier episode. “It’s a different kind of human being and he can still knock your f**king head into another dimension if he can catch you.”

Rogan even mentioned that he “wished” the fight wasn’t occurring, but he still supports Tyson’s desire to challenge Paul at his age.
